Well, I'm about 1 1/2 years (~100/200 pages [can't remember]) into The Art of Deception..I want to finish that book before The Art of Intrusion comes out.

i've read all my books, so right now all i'm reading is the june issue of wired magazine.

next time i'm out to buy a book i'll probably another douglas coupland book (girlfriend in a coma, polaroids from the dead, or life after god, are the ones i have read yet.. oh, and his book about terry fox, which i'm sure is good because terry fox was pretty fucking cool).

i finished the first two Gateway series books (Gateway and Beyond the Blue Event Horizon) recently. they're by Fredrik Pohl and i think they're quite good... i have the other two in cue after i finish Good Omens and Better Than Life, respectively.

This is what will possibly be my only post ever in this thread, but...

I've been working on this book for over a year...and I haven't opened it since my trip up to wisconsin in december...

Also, my girl gave me a link to the fight club book on .txt lastnight, so I'm definitely going to read through that sometime...

"House of Leaves" - Mark Z. Danielewski

It makes me think I'm crazy. It's really good though.

YES! I almost started to think that nobody was reading The House of Leaves.

That book is fan-fucking-tastic. I didn't want the book to end. And it made me scared of the dark for quite sometime.

i told you awhile back i read it too. probably my favorite book. i havent had time to read lately. i've been meaning to get back to the novel i was writing but it always seems to take a back seat to every other task i have.

The World's Banker, by Sebastian Malaby.
Last things I read was Hey Nostradamus by Douglas Coupland and The Posessed by Dostoyevsky.

i've read everything i have at the moment. usually in the past i had a stack of books i never read. now its to the point where i only ever buy a book when i am absolutely sure i will read it.

i have been thinking of getting Mark Z. Danielewski's other book though. i enjoy his writing style a lot.
