Favre on Madden 09 Cover
It sucked to see Favre retire after such a strong season last year, however I also kind of expected it. I am happy to see Favre on the next Madden box, definitely going to pick this up on release for that reason alone, will probably be the only Madden I plan on keeping after it's outdated.
Currently due out on August 12th, 2008. From 1up: http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3167572 |

No, he was pretty serious about his retirement, it's the first time he has said he was retiring. In the past he let it be known it was in the back of his head but he never said anything like "I quit... wait, I changed my mind."
Unless I completely missing something, but I'm pretty sure I'm right on this.
