My internship at a web design company has turned into a job. My girlfriend is awesome. And tomorrow I'm ordering an Alienware laptop, for aforementioned job.

-80GB Serial ATA HDD (I'll be adding a 160gb drive within a month)

-8X Dual Layer DVD+/-RW
-256MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1800
-Alienware Odyssey Backpack

I'm excited to get it. I'll be ordering it tomorrow, but it'll take at least 2+ weeks to get here. Since I've been hired part time (for now while I'm still in school) doing web design and Flash stuff, I figured it was time to get a laptop that I could bring to work with me that could handle the apps that I use. As of now they let me use an old 1ghz, 512mb ram Powerbook G4. It's terrible for multitasking with Photoshop and Flash. And it'll obviously be great for gaming. It'll definitely be a laptop that I can use for anything.

I fall asleep on the couch watching Rosanne and I wake up in the middle of Fresh Prince. I'm single. And my laptop is mediocre.

Looks like a pretty beefy laptop. I have a 17" widescreen 1920x1200 as well, and let me tell you, it's fucking TITS. Make sure alienware doesn't have your fonts set to 120dpi, that shit is annoying.

Yeah but I have seen these episodes soooo many times. And now they are running "new Becky" episodes, which, while new Becky is much hotter, are just not very well written episodes.

Just ordered it. Estimated ship date is the 21st. Which happens to be the day before my birthday.

I had to wait til today because the check from the bank needed 48 hours to get setup or some such bullshit.

I can't wait.
