Google Portal
First a search engine, then a toolbar for IE, then a search bar in your taskbar, then a pricewatch'esque search (froogle.com), then an email service (gmail.com), now, they have a new, personalizable Portal.
http://www.google.com/ig Not to mention that they're the search engine of choice for ICQ, Firefox, so on, and so forth. What will they think of next? |

i'm still hoping they will do what yahoo did and make customizable bookmarks, for everytime you log in, it keeps a list of your favorite sites no matter what comp you are on.

i was thinking the same thing today, creep. imagine if people could make their own "plug-ins" for this. we could make a good-evil one that displays the latest update or the last 5 reviews or something. it would be awesome.
