Alrighty, then.

Yeah, been tinkering with this theme, made that crappy (nobody ever likes my cheap graphics) lastnight, just got done importing the latest backup of the database by hand, only malta made a post right before I closed the other board, that bastard!

Really the biggest additions are a working attachments hack, and the sub-topic-description-thingy.

Enjoy.

Yeah, I just need to fix avatars in the admin panel, forgot I never turned that on while I was testing this one out.

Lol, yeah, those are all the default buttons, new ones can be made, in a non-diablo fashion.

Do you think you can change the colors of the reply tables?

Like, when you're viewing all the replies, can you make the background tables different colors, so it's easier to seperate the posts while reading them?

Hmm...if you want to make a new one, go for it, but keep the same "setup", I plan on changing the "slogan" text every so often, so make sure to give me the .psd file.

*edit*

And I suppose I can play around with the colors, only thing is, the images which indicate new/no new topics, stickys, etc, aren't completely transparent around the edges, so changing cell colors will make them look shitty, I'll open them up later and finish that.

Got my EMG in a couple hours, I'll do it afterwards, I'm sure it will be no problem after having a bunch of electric needles jammed into my right shoulder's muscles.

GT, I think that the most valuable hack to add is the "quick reply" hack ... posting will go up by about 100 times.

I have a version at: forums.osmar.net
If you want me to send it to you, IM me.

Aha...

Ok, now I see the quick reply hack you have...that's exactly the one I was looking for, pretty much what vB comes with.

My XMB forums shit the bet when I upgraded my mySQL ... and checking/dumping/repairing the tables didn't work. I also wanted to integrate my forums better into my site, conjoin the two databases... So I needed to do either an iPB or phpBB. I like iPB, but the databases were too wacky to join the two, so I went with phpBB.

I have a past love for XMB, but ... I let go about last year and had to switch over to phpBB.

I like the quick reply Donnie <3<3<3

Hehe, thanks for pointing me to this one Mike, that other one was just...ugh, no way, not happening.

Yeah, XMB was good, but I think of all the free forums I've worked with...

PhpBB
Ikonboard
Phorums
Invisionboard
ultraboard (HEH)
and so on

I just like PhpBB the most.
