We <3 Katamari
Got my PS2 working again to play this. just got it today, and it's already fucking crazy. i love it. i have to say, i'm struggling to get great sizes on my katamaris. i thought i would be able to pwn this like the first one, but i definitely need to get some more time in on the levels. i'll be playing a lot more tonight.

in the first, the "king of all cosmos" went on a drunken rampage and destroyed all the stars in the universe. since the job of replacing them all is beneath him (he is a king, after all), he's sent you, his son the prince, to earth, where crap (read: stuff) is plentiful and can be rolled up into giant balls (read: katamaris), hoisted into the sky and turned into stars (or stardust, or constellations or other bodies in the night sky).
probably the best use of dual analog sticks since ape escape. so far, i've yet to play we <3, but i'm hoping to get it in a week for my birthday from my girlfriend... and if not, i'll soon be on the market for a new girlfriend! |

if you have a PS2, you should really get both games. they are probably my favorite games for the system.

no ps2. i don't bother to buy games anymore anyways, even if i think a game will be great i lose interest much too quickly.

i cant get higher than 1600meters in the elephant stage. i'm quite mad.
i do have a few 100% runs in some stages though, which i am quite proud of. this game has been eating up too much of my time the last few days.

my friend says there is a stage where you have to roll up a million of something... says it'll take him a year or so.

i quite enjoy the racing level, but i can never impress the king. i got 17m or something and he still was like, "eh that was shitty"

i dont have a second controller at school so i havent tried it. i heard the japanese version had onscreen help and was much easier (and more fun) to play in co-op.
