Just got a job in England for next year.
I guess I'm spending the next month packing and preparing for the move over. I'm mostly just spending time with friends I won't see in awhile, going to work (~9-5), working out, reading and cooking. My life is pretty mundane right now, but I'm enjoying myself, and I think that's what matters. |

Thats awesome Stormy, Where at in England? As long as it's not in Scouserland I'm sure you'll love it...but if you do find yourself up in Liverpool/Merseyside, watch your hubcaps. *nods*
Anyway, England is lovely...absolutely lovely, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

congrats to stormy for the overseas job and hex for the start of college and the anniversary.
i've just been working, learning lot's of stuff. i actually feel a professional. it's weird. i have a halfway decent job, a halfway decent car, and a halfway decent amount of money, which is a big shift from wearing the same pants for a month, scraping by paycheck to paycheck, and driving an oldsmobile. |

And Plymouth is okie, much better than up norf, at least. You'll have to start getting into the 'Beautiful Game' though, living in England. I'd always recommend anybody who goes to England for an extended period of time and whom likes sports to go to at least one soccer (football) match while there if for no other reason than to enjoy the atmosphere. Nothing in America can compare...closest would probably be the BIG BIG BIG college football rivalries. And none of them could compare to the big derby (rivalry) matches in England. I'd suggest catching one of the North London Derby matches on tv if you can...but then I'd rather you not watch my beloved Tottenham get killed by Arsenal again. *sigh*
