Exclamation PS3, Revolution Revealed

E3 has been quite an event.

The PS3 was revealed yesterday with an amazing Killzone 2 demo. I'm officially impressed now. Hopefully the games can back up the power of this beast. Although, I will say, I don't think they could have picked a more unappealing look for the console. It looks like refrigerator.

Also revealed today was the Nintendo Revolution, though nothing specific was shown other than its design. The system looks pretty sleek and is quite a step forward, offering online finally. "Its most significant contribution to online gaming will be the ability to download Nintendo's entire catalog of NES, SNES, and Nintendo 64 console games." Pretty awesome, hopefully the games will also be playable online, a la zSNES.

And finally, there's a new version of the Game Boy Advance coming, called the Game Boy Micro. I am not sure why they need 3 versions of the same system. Hopefully it will offer something new as well.

Yeah, this is what I was waiting to see about, interesting stuff...the RSX GPU will be more powerful than 2 6800 Ultras (wonder if they meant in SLI, or just theoretically combined, which are two different things). Game lineup is pretty nice too, they announced quite a bit'o'crap there.

hah, i was pretty impressed with the Xbox 360, but the PS3 blows it out of the water with it's hardware, and Nintendo has some kick ass things going on.

i think i'll be sticking with nintendo again, but they're all gonna be good choices.

G4 is making me sick?

"Is it a Revolution of Revulsion? I say revulsion!"

LOL, what a riot.

"It can't compete with the power of PS3 and X360, Nintendo needs to get out now or just stick to handhelds."

and this is their hosts from E3. it's so painful, like getting information from a deaf mute.

isn't the Revolution more powerful than the X360?

and the whole "hardware power" argument is tired anyways. the PS2 is SHIT compared to the GameCube and Xbox, but what console sells more software?
