Rock Band?

Anybody getting this on Tuesday when it comes out? They've had it setup at some Wal-Marts and Best Buys all over the country, and it's a pretty fun game. I did the drums on expert level, and I did very well.

My roommate/new girlfriend's brother is buying it for her the day it comes out. We didn't get a preorder at any local Gamestops in time, but there's 2 Best Buys and 3 Wal Marts in the area, so, we figure we'll be able to find one. If not, I'll be some fucking pissed, cause according to Harmonix there won't be anymore shipments until next year.

I just saw a commercial for this.. I still haven't even tried Guitar Hero though I'm kinda wanting to at times. How exactly does this game work, does it come with several different kit pieces or what?

If I had the room for all the shit, I'd get it, but I don't, so I'm not.

I hear it's easier than GH, but more fun.

It's pretty much like Guitar Hero, only with a singer, bassist and a drummer. The kit comes with a guitar, microphone, and a drum set. I wouldn't say it's any easier than GH, cause it has expert levels and what not. And the devs say that if you're playing the drums on expert level, then you could play the song on a real drum set.

Doing some YouTube or Google searches will probably yield you some info/footage.

i dunno, i can't say im sold on the whole rock band idea.

of course, i never became a big guitar hero fan either.

Yea, the game is lots of fun. I've been playing the drums on hard, and I'm about half way through, and it's getting pretty challenging.

If anybody else gets it for 360, let me know, we'll play on Live.

So what's your live id anyways jesse? I have raublekick (him in the nuts), but he's always playing CoD4... I wouldn't mind playing the game with some of you (not all...heh), I'm ok on drums/guitar on medium, I can't get down to that 5th fret worth a shit, and I just tried Say it ain't so on the drums/hard, and did ok.. then tried expert and my foot couldn't keep up/got off cycle.

I'm a Commander, or whatever rank 55 is called, on the pc version.

And yeah, a friend and I were playing it together (on the same console), and he was playing on easy while I was on medium.

jesus dude, that's awesome. no prestige for you? i'm only lvl 27 but i just got it a month or so ago. and my skills are like a rollercoaster.

i had a 25/4 k/d ratio on pipeline last night, and then today i was getting like 4/8 rations.

Sounds like me, I've always been first or worst, that's mah motto at least. There is no prestige mode on the PC version, a lot of people at work who I have on my list play cod4, but I still haven't felt like dropping another 50 on the same game.. right now when I play I work on getting my gold weapons.. I have a gold shotgun so far... working on getting the gold ak now..

Back on topic damnit.. have you gotten rockband? Work on your tv?

Yeah, the price kinda sucks.. got a sam's club in the area? Was 20 bucks cheaper there than other stores.

it's not so much the price itself, i just have about 4 other things of similar price i would like to buy, none of them which i really need. can't get them all though!
