Rules For The VGLive Forum

Anyone is free to post here, but new threads will be strictly moderated. This is aimed as a resource for those interested in video game music, and as such, each thread in here will be dedicated to individual artists who perform video game music with live instruments. Replies should be in context to that particular artist.

1. There will be a main page located at http://vglive.thetesttube.com , where all the artists will be listed on one page. As of right now, it will simply be a link to the old page where many of the links were listed. Expect it to change over time.

2. The title of the thread should simply be the artist's name.

3. There are 5 requirements for a thread:

- Artist/Band Name:
- Instrument(s):
- Notable Games Covered:
- Other Information:
- Website/Links:

Though this is pretty self explanatory, make sure that instruments covers live instruments played, notable games is a brief summation of popular games or series the artist has covered (a recommended song and link, if available, would be very helpful as well), other information is the variable of the requirements, where you can enter anything you wish, be it a bio, accomplishments, noteriety of a particular song, or what have you. And of course, a website for the artist or a VGMix or OCRemix profile, if available.

4. Finally, when you post, be sure to not include your signature. This is a reference, and we want it to look as such.

i have a couple bands i am leaving out for the time being, simply because they seemed to do videogame music as more of a one off novelty song or it wasn't their priority. i will most likely make a new thread for these bands in the future. in the meantime, i just need to add these as i come across them.

- C24C
- Mr. Bungle

furthermore, i could not find any information about these bands:

- Classic Smack
- Constant Mind/Chris Stewart

i've been really neglecting this, and in truth, i think i want to turn this into a wiki-deal, it would be much easier to browse through and look a bit nicer in the process.

i know you are all heartbroken.
