what are you playing?
it's funny how this site originated from a gaming based discussion board and yet we seem to rarely talk about it anymore.
so, what are you playing, and on what medium? do some of you even play modern games anymore? i've been playing a lot of my nintendo DS lately because the TV is often out of my control, so meteos and nintendogs has been keeping me happy. in addition, i think i played about 10-12 hours of we love katamari, easy, over the past week or so. damn addictive japanese games. also, silent hill 3 is sitting on top of my ps2 just begging me to play it.

as far as "modern games" go, i'm played a fair amount of we love katamari and taiko drum master recently... you can get taiko (with the drum, natch) for $15 at best buy if you use the gamers gift card coupon. it used to retail for $60.
but the most recent game i've started again is final fantasy II/IV. i should probably wait til december and get it for GBA instead of playing it now, but i got bored the other day and decided to run though it for old times sake. i'm kind of amazed at how shoddy the writing is... as a 12 year old i clearly had very, very poor taste, because i thought this game was the end all be all. |

hah, you're right, FFIV has some really poor writing at some points, but it is a great game.
i bought Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow last night, and I've been playing We <3 Katamari a lot again over the past few days. I haven't touched Nintendogs for a long time |

I'm playing some Battlefront on the PS, but on the Comp I still can't get over Civ III... I went out and bought IV, but wouldn't you know it, my 6 year old computer that hasn't been upgraded can't play it? (I know I'm a dumbass)

I've been getting back into gaming as of late (especially PC gaming since I have a new 'puter that will run anything out there).
In the last three months I have played and beat on PC: Prince of Persia Two Thrones, F.E.A.R., Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and LotR BFME II. Looking forward to Elder Scrolls IV: The Oblivion! Game looks sweet. Also playing Battlefield 2 sometimes with some of my old UT clanners. Thinking about getting into either GTA: SA or Max Payne 2, next. On GBA (via GameCube's GBA Player), I am working on the Castlevania: Double Pack in between work/school/and whatever PC games I'm playing. |

I play CS occasionaly on this 800mhz 64 ram computer. I'm building a new comp but I'll probably only play CS as far as games go. I played Castlevania for the DS at my friends over the week and got 50%, with some puzzle fighter, and he bought MGS subsistence which is also cool.
